Today we discuss calibrating models and dig into the details of what it means to be calibrated. I also briefly discuss GTAPWiNDC.jl.

This week I demonstrate a simple von Thunen model using MPSGE in Julia. A von Thunen model is a classic economic model that describes how land use changes with distance from a central market, or a point city surrounded by concentric rings of agricultural land. We build the model on a shared whiteboard then implement in Julia.
